With a base in Leeds and London, here’s an opportunity to work with a really well established creative communications agency – a firm with a history that stretches back some 20+ years.
I know them as an event marketing specialist but in truth, they cover all manner of creative output – high-level, overarching brand strategy pieces, big, ideas-driven, creative campaigns, all the way through to the nuts and bolts of internal communications and digital content. This role will see you connecting the dots between all of these areas.
As their London based writer – they have a team of four in Leeds – you’ll be working closely with their client services team. On hand to help solve problems there and then, using your talent for writing to help deliver complex and challenging content in a way that’s engaging and effective.
Experience is essential. You’re likely to be a point of contact for the client themselves so it’s important that you’ve been there, seen it and done it to some extent. That’s not to say there isn’t more to learn though – there always should be, right?
As with any role like this, my job is to show evidence that you’re the right fit so before we get to talking, I’ll be looking for a CV that highlights you’ve worked in similar roles in your past and/or a portfolio of relevant work samples. That means pieces you’ve written across multiple channels – digital, social, traditional – in broad and differing tones of voices – B2B, B2C – long form and short form.
It’s a big ask but I’m really looking forward to seeing what you’ve got. I’m not a writer – I expect that’s clear – but I do have a genuine appreciation for the power of great copy. Delivered well, it can have game-changing consequences.
Over to you…
