Leeds has a few world class digital design agencies and this lot are right at the top of the list.
With a history in design and digital marketing stretching back nearly two decades, they’ve been there, seen it, done it a few times over and they continue to improve and grow year-on-year – picking up awards and major new clients along the way.
As a key member of the sales and marketing team, this role is brand new to the agency and focuses on pitch documents, presentations and other internal communications. With over 150 people in Leeds alone the perception of their own brand – both internally and externally – is paramount, so your job will see you become the guardian of that – dictating the visual language and ensuring high standards and continuity throughout.
Job specifics involve you designing for print and digital; creating and updating pages on the agency’s own site, digital newsletters, posters and critically, compiling presentation packs for their 6 strong new business team to use on pitches. There are departments covering at least half a dozen disciplines within the agency (creative, development/build, SEO, PPC, mobile etc) so bringing all these together into one presentation will be the cornerstone of your success.
What you’ll need
Experience in a commercial design setting for sure, not necessarily at an agency, though – a year or two in-house (or client side) following existing guidelines could be just as valuable.
It should go without saying that you’ll be comfortable in the mainstream adobe packages (photoshop, illustrator and InDesign) – you’re a designer afterall, right?? But experience within Powerpoint and Word would be handy too. If you’ve got any experience in video/motion graphics all the better!
Besides the usual competitive salary, there’s a mountain of other benefits on offer; holidays, your birthday off, a bonus scheme, private healthcare, pension, Perkbox, Friday drinks, sweet boxes …the list is almost endless!
More than that though, it’s the opportunity to join a cutting edge agency and become a part of one of the industry’s most dynamic and welcoming working cultures. Yes, this lot work hard but, in my experience, they’re some of the most satisfied and rewarded creatives in the city.
Why wouldn’t you want to be part of that?
