Design roles come in all shapes and sizes and this one is amongst the most unique I’ve worked on.
Slap bang in the City Centre’s financial district, this fintech startup have only been around a few months and are already making big waves in their sector – building traffic and delivering high value leads across a huge range of audiences in the financial services industry.
Your role will be to create and develop brands from scratch – delivering websites, advertising and other collateral that really speaks to the intended market. One day you might be tasked with positioning a brand to the most affluent of audiences, the next you could be creating something for the sub-prime market so they’ll be stacks of variety and you’ll need to be able to change tack frequently.
The office is an energetic and lively hive of activity, where the sales teams, directors and (soon to be design/tech team) all mix in together. You’ll need to be the type of person that’ll thrive here and you’ll get a buzz out of seeing your work out in the wild doing what it was intended to do.
Along with a couple of digital developers, you’ll be the first designer/creatives in the team so there’s masses of room for growth – if things go well.
Your salary will depend on your level of experience and there’s talk of developing an incentive scheme once some measurables are identified.
All in all, this is a really exciting and different opportunity. It’s a chance to work on a whole host of different projects and having seen the way things have gone in the first few months, a chance to have a lot of fun too!
