Social Media Manager
Whilst they’re head office is here in Leeds, these guys are ranked amongst the biggest and best digital marketing agencies this country has to offer. They’ve grown year on year for the last 10 years and have an awards cabinet fit to burst! They’re an extraordinary bunch, delivering incredible projects for a multitude of big name clients all whilst keeping a smile on their faces and providing one the most welcoming and positive cultures the industry has to offer. Safe to say, I’m a big fan.
This is a lead role within their growing social media and digital strategy department and they’re looking for someone with significant experience to help them take things to the next level.
We’re not too concerned about whether or not you’re coming from an agency or client side role – what’s important is that you can demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of all the major social media platforms and how to knit them together into a cohesive and successful plan.
You’ll know your way around all the technical aspects of each of the major platforms – e.g. Facebook Opengraph, Twitter card data, API capabilities/Firehose permissions, Competition rules ad regulations etc and with any luck, you’ll be up to speed with their particular choice of analytics service, Sysomos.
Planning, executing and measuring top-notch social strategies is just part of the job, though. We’re also looking for someone that’s mega passionate about the role social plays in today’s marketing landscape – someone that can champion social both with the agency and to the clients themselves. You’ll have the opportunity do this internally and externally as part of pitches and new business meetings.
